The CES High School Placement Course gives participating students the
opportunity to study in an Irish or UK Secondary School (High School). This
course is available at a variety of carefully selected private and state schools
in both countries. Through living and studying in Ireland, or the UK, students
have the chance to become fluent in English.
Private School Programme
British and Irish private schools have a worldwide reputation for excellence
and unequalled academic results. They provide an outstanding education preparing
their students for the challenges of adult life. Most students reach high levels
of achievement nd usually go on to study in university.
This programme provides:
- Boarding and day places in a choice of many different, excellent private
schools
- Carefully selected homestay accommodation for those in day places
- The opportunity for students from all over the world, aged from 7–18, to
become fluent in English.
- Guardianship, tuition and four airport transfers
- Assistance with school uniforms and textbooks
- Regular reports to parents
- Assistance with GNIB documents and Re-Entry Visas

State School Programme
State Schools participating in this programme are selected carefully on the
record of their academic achievement and their enthusiasm in accepting students
from other countries.
This programme provides:
- Choice of many excellent schools throughout England, Ireland and Wales
- Local co-ordinator who will maintain close contact with the student
- Carefully selected homestay accommodation, close to the school
- Opportunity for students aged 11–17 from all EU countries, to become
fluent in English
- Guardianship, tuition and four airport transfers
- Assistance with school uniform and textbooks
- Regular reports to parents
- Assistance with GNIB documents and Re-Entry Visas
- Provision of family accommodation during holidays where required
