Course Fees for International Students

Wherever you choose to study in London you are bound to get great value for your money as the British have a longstanding tradition of providing high quality education, not to mention a longstanding tradition of teaching English. How much you pay will depend largely on what courses you choose, at which schools and for what length of time. We here at LondonStudyGuide.com have compiled the following list of likely costs of English courses at a variety of levels and at a variety of different types of schools. Be sure to take these figures only as an indication of what costs may be, NOT as anything definitive or final. For that please contact us and we will be happy to help.

English Language Course Fees

Between accredited English language courses there can be tremendous variation. For a week-long English course you can pay anything between GBP 200 and 1000. Things such as benefits (such as meals or accommodation) and whether or not the course is personally tailored will be factored into the cost. Some non-accredited English language schools offer lower prices. Of course, you are more likely to receive a quality education at one of the comparatively more expensive accredited schools.

UK Independent School Fees

Most independent school fees include courses and accommodation. Sometimes they include meals and extra-curricular activities as well, but, again, this is something to verify with the individual school.

These fees vary from school to school but expect to pay in the GBP 8,000 – 35,000 range.
